How are the worksheets used in lessons?
The teacher may decide to break the worksheet down and teach it a section at a time then give pupils an opportunity to work through the section and evaluate. Other teachers may prefer to go through all of the examples for each section at the start of the lesson which then allows pupils to then progress through the sections at their own pace. It comes down to preference and the nature of your class. Both styles were used in observed lessons with Steve Abbott (please see his testimonial on the homepage) and both formats were well received.
